Illumination

We provide a unique technology for the defence and watch industrie.This takes the form of a maintenance-free system that is 100 times more luminous than comparable systems and which does not need an external power source. betalight components are filled with tritium gas, which is unstable and decays into helium at a half-life of 12.3 years by emitting beta radiation (electrons).
The electrons are unable to penetrate human skin and can be stopped easily even by a sheet of paper. betalight® products are therefore completely harmless to people, animals and the environment. The light sources have a minimum lifespan of at least 10 years, guaranteed by Betalight b.v.. They contain no moving parts and are maintenance-free.

• 0.90 x 2.50mm in green and orange (dial)
• 0.65 x 4.10mm in green (hour hand)
• 0.65 x 6.60mm in green (minute hand)
• 0.50 x 1.60mm in green (second hand)

Performance
Betalights® provide a continuous and secure light source that preserves night-vision and enables readings to be
taken quickly in partial and total darkness.

They are rated for operation in temperatures ranging from -20° to 60° and underwater to a depth of 50m.
